Coffee Hour Invitation:
We are very blessed at St. Barbara’s to have five dedicated teams of families and individuals who donate their time and talents to insure a delicious selection of food and drinks for Sunday Coffee Hours. If you would like to be part of such an effort, and possibly add to a sixth team, please see Matushka Christine, Fr. Basil or any member of a current team. They will pass the information along. New Book Study:
Starting Wednesday, April 10, we will begin to look at, “Feast of Faith: An Invitation to the Love Feast of the Kingdom of God.” Originally a pastoral letter to his flock, the book was written by the beloved Archbishop Paul of Finland (+1988). It focuses on the Divine Liturgy, as well as basics of Orthodox Christianity. One copy remains in the bookstore, but may be purchased online from St. Vladimir’s Seminary Press.

May 11: Mother’s Day.
May 14: Mid-Pentecost. Liturgy 10 am. Vespers on the same day at 7 pm.
May 18: Council Meeting after 10 am Liturgy.
May 28 and 29: Ascension Services: Vespers then Liturgy.
June 7 and 8: Pentecost Services: Vespers then Liturgy.
June 15: Father’s Day.
June 16: Start of two-week Ss. Peter and Paul Fast.
