We are happy to announce that a Fall Schedule has been worked out so that Fr. Chrysostom Arthur will be serving our Mission of Archangel Gabriel with the celebration of Great Vespers and Divine Liturgy on the 4th weekend of each month. This month, November 24 and 25 (Thanksgiving Weekend). We hope that sometime in 2019 Fr. Chrysostom’s schedule might allow for more flexibility, thus increasing both our exposure to the Azle Community and the Mission’s chances for growth.
New Bible Study
On Saturday, October 21, Mr. Zach Lueth began a new Saturday Bible Study on The Miracles of Christ. In his discussions he is referring specifically to those Miracles (Signs) found in The Gospel According to St. John, focusing on the text itself while using both modern and ancient commentaries. Zach does a wonderful job with his classes. They are both enjoyable and most informative. We invite you to join us for this four week series.

During upcoming Fall travels, we encourage members of St. Barbara's to visit Orthodox Churches in whatever city they may find themselves. In addition, we ask that members make a special effort to remember Church pledges and offerings, and perhaps even look into contributions that can now be made on-line through the St. Barbara website. Such efforts are greatly appreciated. Thank you.
